Hi Everyone, I learned yesterday that Indy and sprint car driver Chuck Hulse has died. Hulse was scheduled to drive a new, light weight roadster built by Clint Brawner and Hank Blum, but he was injured in a sprint car crash before he had the opportunity. A young guy named Mario something-or-other replaced him and the car became Mario's first ever champ car ride. Funny how all these things seem to tie together. Hulse was one of the last living drivers who drove both roadsters and rear-engine cars at the Speedway. R.I.P.
Best, Gary

Thanks Gary. I saw Chuck race the sprinters many times. Seems the drivers I saw growing up--not many left. Thanks for the Andretti story. I did not know that.
