I haven't received any thing from IMS yet. However, my 6 year old grandson is soooo excited to get to Indy! I don't think anything will stand in his way except a cancellation of the race! As far as I'm concerned, we will take our precautions, but we don't live in fear. I hope that race will be on and hope to see most of you there!

Nothing received. Already went to the website and confirmed for this year. Went ahead and called and waited maybe 20 mins. Was confirmed they would try to keep you near your seats and the only thing cancelled from Legends day is the concert. So Memoribilia show is on! Hope everybody enjoys the race.

If you have an IMS online account you don't need to wait for the email - just log into your account. For those of us with only 2 seats, we are guaranteed two seats. Those with more than two they are guaranteed at least two. I wouldn't be surprised if once this sorts out if IMS is actually able to sell some tickets.
Personally I think this is a great way to pare down the crowd. No ticket holder will be denied tickets, they just may not get their full compliment. I know of many people (and companies) that buy 10-20 tickets and bring 'guests' - yeah, you're not going to get 10-20 tickets this year, but you may get half your order. Many ticket holders voluntarily won't come - I already know several who are putting it toward their 2021 tickets. I really don't think anybody will be left out in the cold, except maybe some people that rely on their buddy that gets 20 tickets every year and that buddy is looking for a reason not to invite that person, LOL.

Also important to note: All tickets issued thus far are now null and void. All new tickets are being distributed. If you bought your tickets second hand you need to contact the IMS ticket holder for those tickets to see about getting your money back, otherwise you are SOL. IMS will not let second party's get credit for tickets - only the account holder. No word on Bronze Badges/hard cards for guests or any non-essential garage or pit access. I am waiting to hear on this as it will decide if I go to practice and qualifying or not. Since I'm flying in, I'm not willing to risk Covid exposure on an airplane a week before the 500 if I can't do my work in the pits and garages.
