I am appealing to any and all resin aftermarket model producers: Will someone please do a kit of the 1970 - 1971 Colt winners! These have always been a severe gap in our ability to build all the winning cars. I know Bill J did them a long time ago, I even owned one at one point. Having been spoiled by Lance, Chris Etzel, and now Kevin K. I REALLY think someone should produce kits of these cars! How many of the Bill J kits ever got built, do you think? I know I wasn't excited about trying to build mine, that's why I no longer have it. I have to believe a good quality kit with parts to do either year would sell in dramatic numbers. Anyone interested, please appeal to these very creative guys to fill this gap! Post your interest here, please.

I have been revising my master for the 70 Colt and now just need to do the suspension. If there is enough interest, who knows?

Will someone please do a kit of the 1970 - 1971 Colt winners! . . . I have to believe a good quality kit with parts to do either year would sell in dramatic numbers. I have one each of both Jorgenson kits and they are actually very different cars. They have been on the to-do list for years.

Yes they are very different, the tub on the 71 car is not symmetrical and Bill did a very good job capturing this aspect of the car.

I'd be in for a 70 Colt. I also have a Bill J kit, but have never been inspired to start it

Those were the first two cars I bought from Bill J. I sold them when I changed to collecting 1:18 scale. In my opinion, those two and the 1967 Parnelli turbine are the most beautiful Indycars ever.

These iconic winners deserve a kit of Lance's or Kevin's quality, for sure!

I’d definitely take one of each. I picked up the 71 the other day but just a body. I’d love to have a complete kit of each!

Either Colt would be a nice addition to a collections.
