Hi Guys, hey this is the forum I’ve been looking for ages! My name is Roy; I presently live in a place called Leigh on Sea in just outside London, England. I have been a big Indy car fan for many of my 52 years, in fact since my hero Jim Clark ran the race. More recently I have been lucky enough to visit the US and take in many Indy 500’s as well as other races. Due to my passion for Indy car racing and 1:18 scale Indy cars I have found many new friends. I’ve also had the pleasure of being a vendor at a couple of memorabilia shows Stateside, the main one being the Indy 500 show held at the state fairgrounds. I may already have met some of you there. I am a keen collector of Indy car memorabilia, i.e. autographs, tickets, books, prints but mainly 1:18 scale cars. In fact I have almost every 1:18 scale Indy/CART/Champ car produced. I’m also an avid car converter and have many “conversion cars” In my collection as well, which is almost 300 models!!
I look forward to regularly visiting this forum and posting and getting feed back from you guys. All the best Indyroy.

I would like to join the others and say 'Hello and Welcome'. Would love to see some pics of your collection. Jim Clark was also a big favorite of mine. Seeing him at the speedway was something I'll never forget.

Welcome. I was actually born in Chertsey in Surrey (English by land, American by blood). Feel free to pop in whenever you have knowledge of a subject or ask questions when you don't!
We'd love to see your conversion cars! The die-cast section is an interesting one indeed ;D
