This term has long been associated with drivers and teams who have taken an older car and changed it in some way in hopes of making the race. Here are a few of those cars that were originally non ground effects cars that received updates in the early 80's to become ground effects cars in hopes of finding more speed and making the race.

Gee Lance anyone of these creations would be a great seller in resin Just let me know which one you are doing...We dont want to have two of the same kits out there. Correct me if I am wrong: #38 & #89 are both McLarens #92 is a PC7 #71 is a Lightining #17 has that SEXY Vollstedt look to it. Kevin
