up on all fours, (after a little suspension tweaking) Seat belts installed. Straight pins used for roll bar and exhaust support rods. Inner windscreen taped until glue cures.

Just the number, 83 instead of 82, and note the yellow stripe does not wrap around the nose like on Clark’s car. Also, Chapman changed gear ratios on the 83 to make sure it was no threat to Clark. Johns never forgave Chapman for this.

It's been fun leafing through practice and race photos to see how the car kept evolving. The restored version is yet another configuration- almost, but not quite like race day.
