What do you think of Indycar wanting to go out of North America, more and more now? Brazil, Japan and talks of China and India.

They are hoping to ride F1 coatails. Very few Indy drivers are american, that along with poor attendance and poor racing are not helping in this country. Let's face it, the road racing is not good, the street racing really sucks, and most of the current teams and drivers are not very good on ovals. Everything that the IRL was supposed to be (American drivers, affordable cars, and oval track racing) has been left behind. Going abroad did not help CART and it won't help the IRL. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. My $.02 Craig

I think the overall product needs to be improved in the states before expansion to other continents takes place. Priority one needs to be making the ovals exciting again. They have pretty much been snoozers this year. Once the economy picks up, introduce other chassis and engine manufacturers. By then the series might be doing well enough to consider other venues.
