Took a break from trying to sort a Penske PC15. Back on that.
Went way off topic but something from my childhood always wanted to have a go at.
Thunderbird 2 launch bay.
Extended out left and right and mounted on a shelf to fit a certain style of Swedish book case.
Went for the film version bay rather than the regular TV show layout. Yup. Bit more detail for the bigger screen I guess.
Thunderbird 1 bay waiting to be mashed up waiting on the shelf.

Aoshima at 1/350 apparently. The bay does not always include the ship.
Bandai do a Thunderbird 2 sold as 1/350 but it is smaller and does not match the pods that come with this bay.
Probably shove that one on a launch pad one day after finding I could not use it in this dio.
Looked around and found the right one eventually from Imai.
Matching the green is a pain. But then apparently there were four different greens used on the different filmed models!
Thunderbird 2 is also done at 1/200.
There are bays for T1 and T3 which should match this one but the scale thing with these is a bit hit and miss. Probably a case of seeing what fits a standard box and aimed at a price range.
