I just read a notification from another site and watched a short video from the IMS Museum Restoration site. The Lotus 29 previously displayed as Jimmy Clark's #92 is currently undergoing a full restoration to running status as Gurney's white and blue #93. They plan to have it completed and to run it during May activities. The video is only 1:21 long but search You Tube if interested

I read a quote from the crew chief of that car that the engine area was BRG because they had to move to Clark's back-up car after Gurney's accident and they didn't bother repainting the inner surfaces. Whatever they do with it I'm glad to see it happening.

Paul, Those Lotus 29's just won't go away, I noticed the green engine bay a few years back in some photos, I thought the 29's had gray finished bays and chassis. On a related note: I commented on your Ferrari 1512 and just received a painted (Pink/Red) Lexan slot car body maybe a Lancer but I doubt it, it has a molded in transaxle. My question is: what did you use for a Flat 12? I picked up a Monogram 512 BB engone only that is the closest thing I can find. I believe I will have to do some filing to "Narrow" the width and use a Cox 158 trans. One more thing, I have some Russskit Dunlops that I want to use on the Cox F-1s, should I spray or soak them in Silicon so they don't crack? Comments? Thanx, you guys are the best!
