Should you ever decide to go back to Can Am cars, a McLaren M8F would be great. Revson's championship car would look great next his 71 Indy pole car.

I once started to slice and dice two Otaki 1/28 Shadows into a 1/24 model. Crazy and I never finished it. Your model will be ever so much easier to build! Chris Hale's SoCal NNL in May is going to be dedicated to CanAm cars and I wish your car would be completed by that time. Maybe some good photos of the near complete model will drum up some orders!!

Hi All I started mocking up the rear suspension, transaxle, and rear wing/radiator all from styrene. Everything is fitting together nicely. On the other side of my modeling interest, I have also attached a photo of a boiler and fuel tank in O scale that will be for an upcoming kit. First time I broke out the airbrush in quite a while…kind of like riding a bike cycle but I still need more practice. Thanks Kevin K.

Really nice Kevin! My father built a boiler, steam engine and a hit or miss gas engine from rough castings purchased from England. Can't wait to see the Shadow and the Lola being issued.

This is looking so good, its amazing how for a second they thought that BIG radiator sitting up there would be aerodynamicly acceptable. You may have tapped into a wide open market with Can Am cars. Just for starters, we need- any Chaparral- 2A, C, G, H, & J (Fisher has the 2E & F), Lola T-70 (think how many different T-70's could be done from the basic master), any McLaren (Fisher has the M6A & B), more Shadows, Caldwell, H & M Honker... this could go on and on! Neat shadeing work on those tanks! Sandy

Sandy, I've already put a bug in Kevin's ear about Revson's M8F Can Am championship car. Cross your fingers

Love those boiler rivets! O-scale? That's something like 1/43, right? --Frank

MFK (Model Factory Kevin)
If people notice whenever I think something is the best of the best I always make some sort of comparison to Model Factory Hiro as they one of the high resin kit makers in the world.

This is just stunningly good! This and the Wasp, good grief, could things get any better. Plus, Gary says his two newest Kuzmas, the Agajainian and Schmitt Spl, should be ready this coming week.

O Scale is 1/48. Standard American O scale uses a non-scale track width of 5 scale feet. Proto 48 is O Scale with scale track width (4' 8-1/2").

Hi Everyone, I have found some time lately to start finishing up the Shadow Can-Am kit. Here are few photos that were taken a little while back but I forgot to post them. There have been small modifications to just about everything in the photos since when these photos were taken. I am getting parts investment cast as we speak, then they will be off to have white metal parts made. About 90% of the molds have been made. Just finishing up some small details on the main body and then in rubber she goes. I would like to have the kit released in October (hopefully). I will keep you posted on any updates, including price and anything else. Thanks Kevin K.
