Well, I trying to begin to put the pieces all in place for this project. Most of my mental energy has been going to my new teaching position and my mental illness (which might be all the same LOL). Here are the drawings I'll use as a guide... and here's the basic 2 view that I've been looking for for many years and that has been sized to 1/24 scale... This is the car today as driven at the Monaco Historic F1 race. A very interesting design by Engineer Forgiheri circa 1972 and unfortunately never raced. Today I make a trip to the hobby shop to get sheet styrene and begin to transfer the different panels and begin cutting out parts. Stay tuned... Patrick

Hey Patrick! Great to see you back in action! However, I'm equally glad to see that your teaching. This looks likes it's gonna be a good one!

Patrick, Congratulations on the new teaching position. I look forward to watching this take shape. MG of Italy did produce this car at some point. Here is a photo from Johan Brusfalt's wip. The MG model is apparently pretty crude; yours will be much nicer! Hosted on Fotki

Thanks for the complements and interests. I wasn't aware anyone had done a 1/24 version of the car. I'm sure many parts of this project will be better and some will be tough.
I keep forgetting... who on this board did the BT48 styrene body from the paper kit? How did you hold your paper onto the styrene sheet for? I keep slipping causing much vexation! *#%@*&%#%&$#...RATS!
Ideas? I'm concerned for my digitals!

I have used those before with pretty good results. The paper comes off the plastic pretty easily once you are done. Mongo

I made a photcopy of the original (no need to ruin that). After that I cut out each of the body shapes and Scotch taped them to the styrene with glue stick under the form to hold everything in place. Then all I did was to cut along the patten. russd
