Following is side tanks. I've could see in both side in the '69 Race video. Thanks to Dominique (aka Bluespirit) for the advice and Jordan (aka indy) for take the time to search and post the videos.

General tank shape is marked on the body, then epoxy putty was applied and sanded to its correct shape. To get tank edge, a 0.1 mm aluminum strip was added. Finally, fuel cap was added with 0,1 mm aluminium sheet rounded helped with a tip and 0,50 mm styrene rod as screws, also in tank edge.

















Fitting test for Ford engine and exhaust from MPC Olsonite kit. E
xhaust pipes lowered to correct overall height.



Front wings with 1 mm styrene sheet. 'Side cooler wings' with 0,40 mm styrene sheet.







Final fitting test to check car shape. Rear wing is 0,2 mm brass sheet. Front and side wings painted in matt black for better viewing.

Plumbing work. Exhausts and manifolds with 2-3 mm diameter aluminum tubes, 2,5 mm diameter styrene rods and 0,21 mm soft steel wire. Compressors with 3-4 mm styrene sheets rounded helped with dremel. Exhaust pipes with 3-4 mm aluminum tubes heat curved. Valve from an AMT Mclaren kit.

It's suspensions time.

Rear. Hubs with styrene sheets, rods, electric pins. Brake discs from styrene sheets rounded with minidrill. Shocks with aluminum tubes, styrene rods and soft steel wire.















Front in the same way.

It's time to try to finish this build. Dashboard from MPC Olsonite kit, tubes and wires added on back. Seat belt with Tamiya masking tape and some PE.







Forgotten top nose air intake, making with tin aluminium sheet, glued with talk+CA, easily sanded.









Painting job: Tamiya white primer, flat white and red acrylics, 1k clear coat before decals, home made decals applied, 2k clear coat on body and rear wing, semi mate clear for black wings.

Continuing with suspensions. All parts painted with Ammo Mig acrylics (These paints are easy to apply with brush). Then I made four jigs to assure correct height for the car.





Once all parts glued, applied Tamiya smoke acrylic (is matt finish - enamel is gloss finish) in joints between parts to make more contrast. You can view in these pics.
