Great job. I can see why you're feeling the way you do about the engine cover.

John, thanks for checking out my build, and the thumbs up. It's greatly appreciated.
Hard to believe that Fujimi did their entire endurance series from the 70s that way. But back then, I guess that was the norm. Joel

Super Sweet! Always loved these cars. Someone makes a resin engine for this car though if I remember right.

I can assure you that it's appreciated a great deal. And yes, there is an resin engine upgrade, but it's sold out. I'm getting their 3.0 liter Ford engine for the GT40 Mk1 as I have both the Mk1 & the Mk II. Joel

Joel: Wow! Really well done! You chose a Pedro Rodriguez car...the Rodriguez brothers were both very good, but because of their early deaths are often overlooked...again, great job! Tim

Joel...that came out GREAT! The gold wheels against the RED body really looks cool.

Tim Tim, I do remember both Rodriguez brothers. They were true Mexican super hero's. Unfortunately, both died in F1 accidents. At this point, I'm starting to feel more and more comfortable with gloss paint finishes, and I'm almost looking forward to my 1st multi colored paint scheme for the Rothmans Porsche 956. I opted not to use decals for the dark Blue, but rather Graviy's Rothman's Dark Blue. Joel

Ferrari really did know how to max out colors, which truly standout, and make their cars all that much easier to be seen on the track by fans. Joel
