120mm F-14 Pilot

Something I have recently completed. This is a resin kit from Verlinden. I built him straight from the box with the exception of the helmet decals and the patches on the flight suit. The display base was purchased from Hobby Lobby and designed for figures or crafts. He was painted with Model Master, Tamiya, and oil paints. The base was painted in enamels and stain; with the standing portion painted with black crackle paint then covered in a pastel dirt wash. Comments welcome....

The first thing I think thought about when I saw the helmet was Sundown from Top Gun, so it was funny to see you reference that later in the post because that was my first thought.

The paint, highlights, shading, etc are top notch and result in a very realistic figure. Very nice work on this and thanks for sharing.
