Wow. The T16 and 165 are going to quite the nice collection of 1/12 scale USA F1 glory.
Interesting to see all the great pieces in the kit. I love turned wheels and these are impressive with all of the holes drilled in there.

Hey Paul,
That should keep you busy for a week or two.

The first F1 car that I fell in love with way back then. I’ve got the MFH 1/20th scale version of this car so I’ll be following along with great interest.

Jordan....the two greatest US F1 drivers of all time! But I still have to drill 72 holes in each hub.
Duane...I can't help it....I'm addicted to MFH.
Rob...more like 2 or 3 years. Glaciers move faster than my builds......LOL
Paul....if you want to study the 1/12 instructions......PM me your email.

Yes! Please let me be the Luke to your Yoda. I can't afford MFH in either scale but by peeking over your shoulder I'll learn what to do with my Revival kit.

Thanks Jordan. It's resin, but you'd never guess that from looking at it. After struggling for 3 days with drill bits I got from Micro-Mark and only getting about 30 of the 288 holes drilled. I went down to my local tool supply and bought a higher quality #78 bit. 3 hours later and all of the holes in the wheel hubs are drilled. Now my wheel building experience can begin. Spokes and nipples. The start of the lacing. I'm still experimenting with how I'm going to go about placing the 72 spokes per wheel.

Yikes! Were there indentations showing where to drill the holes?

Rob, all of the holes that need to be drilled in MFH kits have a slight depression were the hole needs to be.

Paul, I just found your build thread and I'm signing on from start to finish. there are a few 1/20 scale cars I'd love to buy and build. But honestly, I don't have a clue on how to work with White metal whether it be soldering, gluing, or the prep work needed to get them ready for assembly. Joel

Smart move! Looks good. This is complex build so the methodical approach will keep paying dividends. Stick with it, it is going well.
