Calvin, this looks spectacular! It appears that the front and rear wing assemblies are molded separately from the body. Hopefully that will allow for road course or short oval conversion kits. Will those be coming in the future?
Best, Gary

Will those be coming in the future? Best, Gary Yes the model is made with the wings molded separately. A road course or short oval car will depend on how good this superspeedway car does

Calvin Great job on the new kit. You definitely captured the look. The Wicker running down the nose, is that a separate part or all molded as one? Again Great Job! Silver City Models

The wicker is styrene strip that I supply in the kit and you just glue it into a groove that is already in the nose.

I should have another set of decals ready this week. Think 'bad luck superstitions'. Freddie Agabashian would of really not liked this car!!!! A double whammy of bad luck! Peanuts would have made this one a quadruple whammy. Don't forget that in Agabashian's day women weren't allowed in the pits, much less in the car. I think he would have gone temporarily insane to see a green car number 13 being driven by a woman. Peanuts would have sent him permanently over the edge! Gary

Hi all, I just got a sample of Calvin's 1/25 Dallara and it looks great. I can see some really spectacular models to come based on this kit. Thanks, Calvin! Seeing Calvin's kit put me to thinking about 1/25 scale modeling in general. I know most of us grew up building 1/25 scale car models, but race car models in that scale have become scarce of late. Now I think something of a resurgence may be on the horizon. For builders of modern Indy cars, Calvin's Dallaras, the new one as well as the DW12 kits are a real opportunity to do some great work in 1/25. Then along comes Michael with the 3D printed Watson chassis in 1/25 scale. This chassis with a few parts from the old and fiddly AMT Agajanian kit makes a really accurate basic Watson possible. Now, back to Calvin. With the conversion kits that Calvin has available its now possible to accurately build just about any Watson from 1959 forward. For our sprint car builders, there's a young man in Arizona named Justin Glass who produces incredible modern sprint car chassis and body panels in 1/25 scale. Some parts from the old Revell/Monogram kits are needed to complete the model (I know, those were 1/24, but the parts needed to work with Justin's parts are all there.) If you like sprint cars, visit Justin at SW Scale Chassis. Finally, if the champ dirt cars are your thing, Gary Doucette is working on some 1950s/1960s upright sprint/champ kits in 1/25 scale. So, thanks to Calvin, Michael, Justin and Gary D. 1/25 scale building is alive and well with a greater variety than ever before. Just a thought. Best, Gary

Really nice car. If I had a critique it would only be the PPG decals. They are not correct for 2018.
