Do you think they know it’s a model? I think Marco would have better results if he just drove Michael’s model, like on a table, by himself, in the motor home, maybe with Danica as crew chief. Too bad he peaked 10 years ago.

It's very possible they found it like that. That is not the current pic on my website - I updated it with dayglo numbers several years ago, so they probably found it on a google image search. I have no way of knowing.

I don't think there is a single Kmart left in the Phoenix area, I have not seen one in years. That could be a reason why they do not have Kmart as sponsor for the Phoenix race.

For someone who has worked closely with manufacturers AND IMS.... this is no suprise what so ever. I have seen and used Indycals for more than a couple of days, it is a name that is known. The quality, reputation and a strong desire have taken him to where he is. I feel good for Mr Portaro. He has earned his success. Enjoy it! His complimentary and very capable forum mate GWSTexas is here to assist in special needs and such area's. Its a get it done set of talent. Heck man, this place even has guys that make their own decals.... as they make their own parts....we have 2 seaters and EVERYTHING. It's all here. Knowing this i have decided to do Helio's livery from the Barber test. I just love it. First crack @ the new car- with a timeless scheme for Rick Mears fans. I do believe Greenlight has announced a blank white new car.  insert code hereTo the top of the list it goes!! I have a list i will be asking for Mr Gws's assistance in the future..... If i can stop adding to it.  |

Greenlight has done the white autograph car. it's in stock at the gift shop at IMS right now. I saw it on Friday during the tire test.

I had looked on the website, perhaps i missed it or they have not updated. I know another seller in Indy has the car for sale on e-bay. I looked @ St Pete. No new diecasts. I doubt it has the center wicker and after seeing Harveythedogs Fernando car rock one, i gotta go for it. I dont think its a huge gamble that this livery may be on the car for the 500, but i could be wrong. It was one of my first thoughts when i saw the Barber test pics. Greenlight may produce it. The 1/24th 2014 Helio P ennzoil sold well and so did the 2016 1/18 version.They sometimes produce a car thats not ' abvertised'. Either way, with what i have learned here i think i can do as good. I am thinking a driver. But not a standing figure. |
