It's the Navarro Engineering Spl. #50 driven by Norm Hall, The car was one of A.J. Watsons 1964 rear engine cars now with a RAMBLER Turbocharged Inline 6 cyl. engine. Barney tried many years to make the race with this engine but never made the show.

With the info Walt provided, I was able to find another photo: Check out that massive turbo! I wonder which 64 Watson chassis they used?

Les Scott crashed it when I was a kid, it was number 50 and burgundy in color.
Navaro is a highly regarded manufacturer of trick cylinder heads for flathead motors. His stuff is highly sought after, so if you see some at a swap meet, buy them!

The photo that started this chat was of the 1967 Car all the following photos are of the 1969 car, I'm still trying to find out what chassis the 1969 car used as it had different body work that the 1967 car which was a A.J.Watson 1964 built car. If I find anymore info I'll pass it on.
