Working like crazy to have two 85C's built up for the memorabilia show in 27 days. Doing Danny Sullivan's Spin-and-Win car and Emerson Fittipaldi's Michigan 500 winner. The kit will come with decals for the instrument panel, the March nameplate you see on the tub next to the seat, and seat belts that have been custom tailored for the new seat I designed. Progress so far:

Too good! Always nice to see those fat nose cars being built. And even more with those refinements. And Emmo's subject is particularly nice for several reasons... can't wait to see more.

Looks good Michael. Really like the dash and the shift mount.
Have you come up with a price yet?

Got some decals down on the Michigan 500 winner. I used Tamiya TS23 Light Blue - which as questioned would probably be good for Greg Moore's car. The kit will be $129. It will come with your choice of decals, resin and 3d printed parts and maybe some aluminum tubing, steel wire and sheet styrene. Initial choice of decals will be Sullivan Indy, Fittipaldi Michigan and Foyt Indy, with more to come. Each kit will also come with a set of 'accessory' decals, which includes instrument gauges, head rest decals, March nameplate, a decals for the fuel port that isn't used, sidepod bolts, three sets of seatbelt, and foil printed exhaust cover and sidepod leading edge protectors as seen on the Penske cars.

Looks very nice Michael. I wish I was a fan of the early '80's March Indy cars as I can tell you've really upped that ante with this one. The engineering of your front suspension mounting really stands out.

Whew! Spin-and-winner painted! Very pleased with the masking on this - might be my best masking yet.

Great job masking Michael I was wondering how you were going to do that one. If you were going to paint it or use a decal.

The Spin and Win kit comes with a masking template that matches the decals. The lower portion of the star that has the red underneath it, is all decal.

Absolutely awesome work!!! The '85 March is my second fav design following the '82 PC-10.
Are you planning to release the decals separately? Any plans for 1/64th scale sheets?

Don't want to hi-jack this thread.....but hoping you are doing the two Kraco/Electrolux and Wolff System cars and the Guerrero True Value/Emerson Electric car? ? Again, great work on the cars above. Can't wait to see the finished products.

I wouldn't hold your breath on any more KRACO sheets - the ones I already offer aren't really indicating that any more are worth the effort.

Built my first front suspension. Went together really well - I think you guys will like how it goes together. You will probably need to sand the mounting points a bit as the fit can be pretty tight, but this is a solid, fairly self-leveling suspension. The pull rods are steel wire and the steering linkage is aluminum tube and steel wire, the rest of the suspension are 3d printed parts. Also added the radiator and fuel buckeye.

The Emerson car is beautiful. So remind me (I was like 12 years old in 1985) This is Emmo's Michigan 500 winner, but did he have to go to a backup? I am assuming this was a Johncock car (STP Blue) and they applied the 7-Eleven decals? Thanks!

Yes, I don't recall the reason, but this is the STP backup car with the 7 Eleven decals. For whatever reason, even with the week delay, they didn't change it to it's normal livery.
