This one is fighting me over the decals, but full speed ahead... I added some detail to the rear... Thanks for looking... Tim

And then...I dropped it!...AAAARRRRGGGG!!! Right when I go to clear coat:FUMBLE!!! Lands on nose and cracks it...somehow lands on right rear tire on the rebound...broken axle, shattered front suspension...a few years ago, I would have just quit...but instead, took it as a challenge...don't magnify the pictures, are you will see the many dings and paint to fix... Calvin: if you like decal challenges, this is the car for you... In a typical Indy 500 for Ruby, he qualified 25th; worked his way to the lead by lap 50, and then the engine quit... It will look OK when hidden amongst all the other Indy cars... Thanks for looking: I will be more careful next time... Tim

Super job, Tim. I know that one was a fight, but you really pulled it off. Sadly, that "dropitis" problem is going to get worse as you get older, Been there too many times.

This is beyond fantastic! Tim! Its always a treat to see your WIP's....The not only have a great build but, they have an interesting story behind them too. Calvin: if you like decal challenges, this is the car for you... I have this kit too! and I will love doing the decal job as I will have ZERO problems and it will come out perfectly.

good job on the kit. I feel your pain in the drop department.
I have two of them to build. They are painted white and the wheels are done. Too many projects. (and now spring is here)

I appreciate the kind words guys...here are the "BEFORE" pics... As my friend Burd said..."Ruby hit the third turn wall!" So glad I stuck with it... Tim

A great endorsement for sticking with it, Tim. The end result is really sharp and certainly an eye catcher. You did really good.
