I got a couple 1/43 kits in a swap meet raffle and one of them is the Provence Moulage 1/43 Aston Martin AMR1. Unfortunately, the decals are no good. As the car only raced in 1 scheme, I'm in a pickle here.
I realize it's not a diecast, but the recent 1/43 thread got me thinking about it. Anyone know where/if I can get decals for this kit?

Anybody else model the car? Perhaps another model company might still have replacements if it was a recent kit.
Grand Prix Models in Britain may be able to help, they are a very large dealer in 1/43 scale kits and models.
Good luck.
Just looked at the GP site and it looks like SMTS models the car as well and may be recent. It is available in both kit and finished models.

A guy in France, Michel Herbin, bought 18.000 sets of decals from Provence Moulage when the company went bust in 2008. He may have the Aston Martin decal you are looking for. He can be contacted at fanou.decals (at) orange.fr. I was last in contact with him in August 2011, so I don't know if the mail address still works or if he still has decals to sell, but it's worth a try.

Good Greif! Thats a lot of decals. Provence did some beatiful kits back then along with Starter. I still have some of both companies kits. Sandy They are very nice, I also have a Starter 917 "Longtail" kit and the Tameo Lotus 49 "Ducktail" as raced at Monaco in 1969. |
