Been working on this one for a couple of months for a crew member at KV who worked on the car. Said I'd give it a shot, but didn't know how it would turn out. Decals are a combo of Gary @ GWS Decals and some custom printed vinyl decals by me (cockpit, yellow strips, hump, rear wing patterns). Not 100% complete (still needs some touch-up and a couple of decal repairs but it was a good overcast morning to take some photos so I went ahead and did it today. Thanks for looking!

Very cool build. Did you do the racecar graphics or help out on them?

Very cool build. Did you do the racecar graphics or help out on them? Jordan No - Daniele Sanfilippo did them.

Wow, very impressive! The colors look outstanding, I assume this wasn't printed on an ALPS?

Very much Outstanding! Very nicely done! Nope. Black and white paint base, laser printed decals (HP LaserJet Pro m276nw) on Bare Metal Foil paper for the nose. White ALPS decals for everything on black, except for the "hump" and rear wing decals which are printed on Cricut (Oracal) white vinyl and molded on with a hair dryer (clear coated first). The yellow "zipper" stuff is yellow vinyl with white ALPS decal and laser decal on top of that.

Very nice job! I was so busy admiring the decal work that I almost missed the wheels - the detail painting on the spokes reminds me of Asanti wheels. I missed this detail when doing the research for my 1/64 version, which is good, because I never would have been able to pull it off! I should have known that with Robert Graham as a sponsor, even the wheels are pimped out.
