I'll try to catch some but no way I can catch most of it. I'm looking forward to seeing how the new Porsche V-4 does..... Back in the olden days I used to watch almost all of it.....that was back when we had great Speedvision channel.....Now we have BS1 and BS2

I see it as a ploy. Sportscar fans are passionate and vocal. We are the type to call and complain about not having BS2, so Fox will take away the finish of the race and watch us do the dirty work and motivate the cable companies to pick up another Fox network.

Watched on the website which wasn't bad, not TV coverage but much cheaper!! Watched an hour last night, got to see the sky starting to light up as day was breaking in France. Woke up in time to get ready and still catch the last hour of competition. Audi is awesome at LeMans - congrats on beating Toyota and Porsche entries this year.

As you know Denmark is a small country and not exactly a motorsports superpower. Except for Le Mans that is, where Tom Kristensen, Jan Magnussen and a lot of other Danish drivers have done very well, to say the least. So Le Mans is big in Denmark (between 25.000 and 30.000 Danes travel to the race each year) and one of the national networks show almost all 24 hours. The greatest thing for me this year - apart from a dynamite race - was the win in the GT-AM class of the Danish-owned and -crewed no. 95 Aston Martin. Last year I was at Le Mans working with the team with a view to writing a story about what makes a team tick for 24 hours, but sadly the race for the team was soon over with the tragic death of one of the drivers, Allan Simonsen. To see the guys on the top step of the podium this year brought tears to my eyes, I have to admit!

Very enjoyable race, all three marques had a point when they looked like the likely victor. The ACO site provided good video and Radio Le Mans the clear standout on commentary. One of the best runnings since 1999 IHMO with the twists, turns, and more than two manufacturers in the playground.

If you don't like the looks of the current crop of F1 cars, and very few do, check out the Porsche LMP1. All the LMP1 cars look strange, but that is really "Butt Ugly".

Craig, I agree. It seems as time goes by, the cars in the top series get uglier and uglier. Makes the NASCAR "Stockers" look pretty good.

The LMP1 cars have to grow on me each year. They aren't what I find good looking in a race car but they are really amazing feats of engineering so they always fascinate me. Ultimately, I enjoy them because of what they are able to achieve.

Dumb thread title
Weather played a huge factor in this great race.
I went four years ago and I am a stupid Hoosier

Also pulled for the AMR in GT-Pro (after the Vettes had problems) if for no other reason than the Aston is one of the sexiest cars made and the Gulf blue & orange is spectacular. MJ

Old dopey me! I failed to notice all of the different channels and then I recorded what was called "the finish" on my menu, only to find that the only thing it finished is my relationship with Comcast. No FS2, CBS Sports, and worst of all, no MAV TV (notice my avatar - I love me some sprint car racing!).
Maybe I can convince DirecTV to pay for my cancellation fee if I come crawling back.
