.125" X 25 = 3.125" on the full size car. 3.125 divided by 64 = .049" which is close to 3/64 or 1.25 mm.
Very much looking forward to this work in progress as I'm looking to build one.

Thanks for the tip about shortening the front axle. I tried this and it works really well especially since you are taking the piece out of the middle leaving the attachment points outside the frame. Now if we could just figure out a simple fix for those stupid AMT tires. Jim

Very true. With Tom & Ed, Michael, and Calvin producing tires, our tire problems are becoming a thing of the past. The best solution for the ANT tires is the trash can.

Out of winning cars from the 1960's, the two I like best are "Oldcalhoun" and "Besty," the 1963 and 1964. Cars that looked fastanding still1!
