Classic Indy 500 week on ESPN classic

FYI the 3rd week of this month is Classic Indy 500 week on ESPN Classic.

I dont see anything new - NO 1965,1966,1968,1972,and 1976 once again but all the others will be on for the most part.....so if you have this channel then enjoy. I'm not going to subscribe as I already have them all recorded from previous years.

I don't have ESPN Classic, wish I did to watch these! When you mention the years which they haven't shown, any idea on why, I would call them "Classics"?

76 was rain shortened and only ran 250 miles with a long delay. Not that entertaining. I remember because I got soaked.

Believe it or not, It was the highest rated Indy 500 broadcast of all-time.

I have know idea why they dont show 1972 or 1976. Personally I have never seen (In current times) the abc footage of the 1972 500. I've seen the abc footage of 1976 several times.
