All I can say is I'm glad we use MPH instead of KPH because Tom Sneva would of not been the first to break 200KPH at indy....it would of have been 1938 Floyd Roberts (Maybe?)

My Corvette came from Canada and the big numbers on the speedometer are actually kilometers(kph). I've had a number of passengers say "It doesn't feel like we are going 104 miles per hour."

A bit more progress. Checking for the dreaded tricycle effect, some adjustment is required. Getting ready for the last push. Craig

You always do a good job detailing you builds! I would never take the time to put the brake lines on because I'm usually so freaked out to get it done.

I built a couple of these many years ago, and was disappointed, it's not an easy kit, and the finished model looked like crap. Michael, and Calvin have solved the problems with their update kit. THANK YOU, BOTH. The kit is still somewhat of a PITA, but now I have something I'm happy to put in the case. Take Care Craig

Great build Craig. It has the right look with the conversion kit and wheels. Good to see it done with Dan's markings.

Craig, the Lotus looks great. I too built one or two of them back in the day and always thought they missed the mark. With the upgrades, your model makes me think I should give it another go. Ed

I sure hope it inspires you to get back to the workbench, Ed. You, and Tom are both way too good to be sitting on the sidelines.

Mike Tyson: "Everybody has a plan 'til they get hit in the mouth." Tim & Craig : "Every modeler has a plan 'til the kit hits 'em in the mouth."
It came out beautifully...Dan would be proud, but I'm sure he wishes it was number 91...that car might have made it to the winner's circle... Great job! Tim

The Lotus looks great. The update kit and Indycal decals make that rough model kit into a real winner! Nice work Now if I could get the blue stripes painted on mine and assemble, I would have one too! There is no way Indy officials in 1963 were going to let a little Euromobile win the 500. They would rather let a car run around there spraying oil everywhere so it could win, no offense Parnelli or J.C.

It really is a great time to be in the hobby. There are a lot of new products coming out all of the time and upgrade kits like this are really nice to have. Great job, Craig. It look right but how is Dan going to fit in there? lol
