Unless something unexpected happens in the next 2 races, we are in for a repeat of the last several seasons, with a new cast of characters, a runaway championship for both drivers, and mfg. Team orders now, thankfully have now become a joke. Alonzo continues to show that he is IMO in a class of his own, and somebody should have given Kimi a copy of the Thomas Wolfe book "You Can't Go Home Again". The boys in red might better have stayed with Massa. McLaren can't outrun Toro Rosso? 2 years ago everyone, including me, thought Hamilton was an idiot, now he looks like the smartest man in racing.

But for those who rail at 'the spec cars' the Indy car series races, this is what you get when you have a more engine manufacturers, more chassis builders and more open rules. One car will get it right and leave everybody else in the dust and the races and the season sucks.

I am glad there is at least some testing during the season for F1 and I hope there will be more test sessions, so there is the possiblity of some teams catching up. I don't know where Ferrari and the Renault teams are going to find what they really seem to need though. Horsepower. Paul Erlendson

It'll be interesting to see how long it takes the 'field' to catch up the silver arrows. I watched the race today and I was fine with it.....I wasn't bored with it. I mean, I watch practice and don't get bored with it so whats the difference? Its Physiological. My first season of watching F1 was 2000 - back when it was almost impossible to pass. Back then I didn't know any different, I didn't know what good racing was and I thought it was just the greatest thing ever!

I have to say it is interesting watching Vettel play the role of Mark Webber This year shows how much Adrian Newey built that Red Bull chassis around Vettel in prior years.... I bet they will work it out once again.

2 years ago everyone, including me, thought Hamilton was an idiot, now he looks like the smartest man in racing. +1 Yep, good on him I can't watch much F1 these days due to belt tightening around the house but Lewis has been my favorite F1 driver since he came on the scene. I'll agree that I didn't see why to leave BigMc but he really timed it right. M-B has picked up their game all the way around whereas BigMc was winless last year and is now fighting for 2nd best M-B powered team back with Force India. This year kind of reminds me of how Braun took off with the season the last time there was a huge rule change. Jordan
