I am not a fan of "gimmick" racing, 2 tires, DRS, Push to Block, etc, and I think the currwnt crop of F1 cars are another step on the road to butt ugly. However that was the best racing I have seen in a long time. Patrick, your guys have a lot of work to do. Last year Alonzo's talent made up for some of the problems with the car, this year it's going to take more than that.

One of the best F1 races I've seen in a very long time! This could be a very interesting season.

The Boys in Red can cry me a river! That was the best F1 race in a long time. Renault is getting better but the Silver Arrow boys are in a class by themselves. Great race!

I enjoyed the race, but I usually enjoy most races anyway, but this one had me more on the edge of my seat.

Well, my boys in red are always in this for the long haul...since the beginning. Can the other teams say that? Consistency is what F1 is about. Right now my boys are trying to overcome some slight (persistent) problems(Like o'all speed for example.) I do agree with the gimmick-ness of racing in F1 now. I predict some changes to improve the sound quality of the cars. People will turn off the TV and not watch Under 2 Liter sounding cars.

I was so hoping that Rosberg would pass Hamilton.

I gotta root for Lewis... he has a place here in Colorado and has been known to go hiking in one of my hiking locations in Grand Junction.

Then asume that if you meet, he won't be letting you by easily... Racing is fine, but also let's remember it's racing for third. Anyway 1988 (similar to waht we're probably bound to see this year) was a fine year. AS long as there's fight betweem them silver boys... PAtrico my friend, being red is all about suffering for long stints... remember 1980-1999 ;-)

Patrick Patrick, the look on de Montezemelo's face when Hulkenburg passed either Kimi or Fernando (I forget) said it all. I would not like to be the person/people he deems responsible. It would be easier to feel sorry for them if that stupid ANTEATER NOSE didn't make for maybe the ugliest open wheel car ever. That said, having watched Buxton's trip to Ferrari in the FF and the other Ferrari special NBCSN did, I am much more of a Ferrari fan than I was before. When I was a kid, Ferrari were the bad guys, trying to stop my beloved Fords at Le Mans and F1. That feeling is still deep inside, but, my goodness they are fantastically beautiful machines. I've been a Ford and Porsche guy my whole life, but if I win the Lotto... well, I want an FF (I like the AWD) in red with tan Daytona seats. MJ

It is nice to see Hamilton's move to MB working out for him as I have rooted for him since he was a rookie. McLaren obviously lost their way last year and even with the dominant power plant to start 2014, they seem more on par with Force India rather than the Mercedes team. What do you guys think about McLaren dropping M-B for Honda now? Might end up being genius but at this point, giving up Mercedes power seems like a losing proposition!?
The F1 season is one of the times that I really miss having cable.... I really would like to watch this Bahrain race, it seems like it was a classic.
