I am much better with a no-masking paint scheme. :-) Oh its not that hard! Its all straight lines. How about this! If you do a WIP and build a 1978 North American Wildcat and finish it.....I'll send you a free Wildcat to do the 1977 STP. Deal? Calvin, with global warming and all, I'm not sure there is enough time left for me to do a WIP. I mean, the medium used for taking pics may change before I'm done - from film to digital to ?? Blink and your mind captures it and downloads it to the memory stick imbedded in your pinky? If you're The Machine, I am The Chisel and Stone. As tempting as your offer is, and I really appreciate it, I realize it would take a medium sized miracle for me to complete TWO trans-kits of the same car. As it is, I'm a much better collector than builder. Plus, I think the STP version would look cool next to Gordy's flo-red Sinmast Lola 332. I'll have a better idea of what I can do when I get the kit and pull out the glue-bomb Eagle and see how much repair work I'll have to do. I'm starting the Mallard - if I can figure out how to post pics (I'll look for your primer) I'll do a nice loooonnnng WIP on that. Maybe that will get my juices flowing. MJ

Once you start building a 70's model, Global Warming turns into Global Cooling just like what they said was happening to the world in the 70's

What is the AMT Eagle kit that is required? Forgive my ignorance but I haven't done much with any car with wings and aero enhancements.

Anything that is AMT Eagle like Jorgenson Eagle, Patrick Eagle, or Olsonite Eagle. The bodies in these AMT kits are horrible but the mechanical things are OK and have been used for years on our resin trans kits.....most of our forum members usually have 2 or 3 AMT eagles stashed away. I have about 3 and a lot of AMT Mclaren parts as well which can work for a lot of things for this Wildcat as well.
