Huge list of stuff

Labor Day weekend I sent Nic a PayPal payment for a model. I gave him some slack because I had heard that he was moving, but last week I still hadn’t heard a word from him. I sent him an email asking for an update and he said the model was “on the way”. Well, it’s been over a week since I received the “on the way” email and I’m fed up. Last night I sent him an email asking for my money back. My problem with Nic is not an internet problem. It’s with him taking my money and not sending me what I paid for in good faith.

Wow, I can't imagine having to take that extreme with Nic. I have had nothing but good experiences with him on all my buys including during this run of sales. I hope things are alright and it works out. I am sure there is a reason for the situation.

I am going to post this in here as it doesn't belong anywhere else but here. This is just what is going on. If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all. Anyway, to give you all and idea, a little over three months ago, my fiancé of five years and I split ways and the little girl that I have kept since she was a month old was taken from me and placed back into the custody of her druggy parents. She will be 2 in November. I left town for a short while and it was then that I decided to sell all of my hobby stuff. When I got back into town that's when I posted the list. I managed to get about 1/4 sold and I really appreciated everything that everyone bought. During this, I was in a panic to find somewhere to live as the house was hers. I managed to find an apartment which I am finally in now. For a while I was living in my parents' basement sleeping on the floor. It has taken two trips with officers to get most of my stuff out of the house. I still don't have everything and probably won't be able to get all of it. Now on top of all of this, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in which my Jeep was disabled. I did receive a minor injury, but I walked away which is all that matters. This has really brought me to my knees and has been very hard to cope with. If it hadn't been for an incredible woman I met about two weeks ago, I probably would be struggling even more. There is more that has been going on such as delays and having a hard time getting internet. Overall though, I just want to say, I have never had the intention of taking anyone's money. I'm not like that. I don't want to steal a dime from anyone. I've got a lot of appointments and work this week so I haven't been able to deal with anything other than those. This weekend, I have to take some time to recollect myself. Come Monday I will be hitting everything back full time to get everything sent out that was left including getting the items that are in my Jeep. Once that is done, I will reopen the sale and post the remainder of what I have. For those that have remained patient, I really appreciate it and for the rest, I'm sorry. I am trying and I will make it worth everyone's while. Please until Monday, hold off on anything as I'm just now able to get on the internet and able to read a few emails at a time.

It's been 20 days since I sent my payment and 10 days since Nic said my package would go out the next day. I'm a patient guy so I'm gonna give him a few more days, but it shouldn't take a package that long to go from Tenn to Indy.

I have done business with Nic in the past with no problems, and I am sure he will make things right. I wish he would have posted that on our forum. These kind of things can happen, which is why I told everyone right up front that I would not ask for any money on the Eagle kit until I had them boxed and ready to mail. Things can get out of hand too quickly.

I'm not feeling comfortable about the lack of any response from Nick on this forum or to my e-mails since he obviously has internet access.

How much damage does a boxed resin kit suffer when it is an accident severe enough to disable a Jeep?

PayPal doesn't accept item not delivered claims after 45 days from the date of the transaction.

Just wanted to post on here that all seems to be going much better than what started 6 months ago. I can say I have had my ups and downs but lately there have been more ups. Anyway, what I came here to do is to hopefully start to do the final sale of my stuff but before anyone asks if I have something, I want to make sure I do not owe anyone anything. If I do, please email me directly at [e-mail]. I believe I am caught up oneverything and if by chance I did forget something, please accept my apologies. I will do what it takes to fix it. If it is ok, on Monday iI will post the decals. Once they are gone I will move on to the remaining kits. I really do appreciate everyone and I really appreciate the thoughts and prayers.
