Thanks guys. The main body is clear coated and I will be installing the engine this weekend. The main issues that keep haunting me is that nothing fits or mounts to anything from the original design since I modified the cockpit and mainly since the engine is now an Offy instead of a Foyt V8. I spent two hours last night making a new panel to fit between the drivers seat and the Offy engine and haven't even begun to figure out the front suspension. Picked the wrong time to start on this car originally but coming together now.

Stu, I would love to see the entire engine on this project. Does it have a turbo charger like the other engines of that era. I have started on my project and of course things are a little different in my scale. Just want to double check that I have the correct engine that I am starting with!

Hi Terry, I will update again on Tuesday as I am very close to having it finished. Yes, the car is Turbo charged and the engine was taken from a junk Carousel 1 1973 Eagle.

thanks. I have started on mine. Even sliced my finger when my dremo saw got away from me. Trying to hurry. Haven't done that in 40 years.

Great job and great pictures of the engine area. I think I cut too much on my first car. I'm tempted not to cut around the curved side section. Mine just doesn't look right!

It came out great, Stu. It was nice to follow this from start to finish as the difficulty of the transformation could easily be missed. A very nice result from a lot of hard work!
