I used Alclad chrome on the kit & as usual for my F1 models we added the flashing Light.

I like the chrome look and adding the light is a super touch. Do you make the lighting system from scratch?

They are kind scratch built. We ordered 50 Novelty buttons/pens, but the cheapest manufacturer only made orange flashing lights... SO from there we take the Micro chip out and cut the excess off, around the edges. Helps it fit in the car better. Take off the orange light and run wire from the engine to the rear with a NEW smaller RED LED. We add an ON/OFF switch aaaaaannnd DONE... I Usually put lights in F1 models that don't have engines, this gives even more room for the chip-

I assume this was the Revell kit? How did you like it?
