This is the start of my next build. First order of business was to get a coat of white onto the bodywork. I also sorted all of the other parts and got them sprayed.

Cool Paul, one of my favorite Loti of the era, what decal set are you using? Doesn't the kit have two in it? Chris

Chris, it only has one set of decals, other than the two different drivers that is. I got the engine done. And have a start on the beginning of a lot of decaling.

Why is it that decals stick better to fingers than plastic?

They do that on purpose hoping that you will destroy a couple and have to buy another kit to complete the build. ;D

I got more done on the engine and rear suspension. Tamiya gives you decals to do the upper element of the rear wing. But after trying to get them to lay down correctly, I gave up and painted it gloss white instead.

After putting 9 decals on each wheel/tire, I am finished with them.

I always like the look of a nicely detailed open wheel cockpit!

Thanks Jordan Other than decaling the rear cowl, all that's left to do is assemble. So this is where I was this morning.

I agree - a sleek and good looking build. These early 90s cars were clean and simple which is very aesthetically pleasing.

A very clean job. I wish there was an "affordable" 1/24 kit.
