HELP!!! I have a medical procedure coming up and have to cover the co-pay so unfortunately I must sell a few of my prized kits... First up is a Wave Arrows Fa13 F1 kit Resin, white metal and photoetch, I dont know if you have ever seen Wave kits but they are beautiful, no flash or real clean up, cartograph decals, and excellent white metal parts. a curbside of a beautiful F1 car the Arrows Fa13. Next up is a Jordan 191 , rare Pepsi version again great resin, white metal, decals (missing 3 7up decals) and photo etch. There is still 2 sheets of decals and the full Pepsi version (Japan GP) can be done. I bought these 15 years ago and Wave went out of business some 10 years ago. A shame as they are a world class resin kit. I am asking what I paid for them $119. each shipping would be $15. ea or less combined. I hate to sell these but I must raise some money .. PM me, I can take additional pics if needed. I will put these on ebay next week.

Chris, I'd rather send you a "donation" to help you out than see you sell these kits. Anybody else fell the same?

I'm with John except for one thing. Chris, if you have had these for 15 years, do you ever intend to build them? If not, and you need the money, put them up on Ebay. Some kits go for what I consider crazy money there Take Care Craig

Thanks for the offer, my co-pay with MRI, Anesthesiologist and Doctor comes up to $1100. so I have to start on it.. I dont want to feel like I owe anyone and I would if I took donations from anyone. I guess I really found out who my friends are, The Guys on this Forum!!!YES, I really did want to build these, I was building Drag cars for years but always wanted to get back to my roots, Open wheel and Can type cars.. and joining this group I did , I even gave away or sold all my drag kits and started my builds of cars like the Lotus56b offy... I will put the kits on ebay if I have to but they charge about 10% now and PayPal 6% ... For now I will entertain offers on them...Thanks Again Chris

to all members: regardless of what you may think of me, i think it takes alot of courage to bring a situation that chris is facing to the attention of the forum members. chris- if i cant talk you into putting your address on here for all of us (home mail address or paypal), then perhaps we can have a 'chris hale benefit auction on ebay.?

I've learned a lot about modeling from this forum, but I've learned more about the character of it's members. I've only met one member, but I consider all of you friends. This was an easy call to make. Hang in there Chris.

guys- we now have Chris Hales address and paypal address- ive never met or spoken to chris but you cant deny the fact that his work and contributions on the forum shows alot of heart. no donation is too small- even 20 guys making $5 donations each adds up to $100 rather quickly....every bit helps and with the amount of registered members as well as guests, I know we can make this copay of $1,100 happen.

I'm with Bill. I mailed my contribution Saturday morning and I know the members will come through on this. Chris's willingness to ask for help shows how he feels about this group, let's show Chris what being a member of this forum really means.

This is a great idea!
I'm sure most everyone here has one, but on the odd chance they don't, I'll offer the MPC three car set (Lotus/McLaren/Calhoun). Sorry, no pics, but it is complete and in excellent shape, except for the box which has survived many moves.
How 'bout we start at $25? I'll pay the postage and the winner can send payment directly to Chris's Paypal account.
Best wishes Chris.

Since I came into this deal late, is there anything else that you might need?
Guys, Chris and I have a history from GPMA, however I don't recall seeing anything on GPMA about this. If so, maybe it was lost in the plethora of GPMA e-mails that I receive daily.
Good to hear that the goal was met, and in all honesty, I don't think that this would have happened on any other site.
I could be wrong...
