Had a fantastic three days at the Indy Car/American Le Mans outing at Mid-Ohio. A buddy and I rented an RV and we got a spot just after the Honda bridge coming out of turn 10.(Inside this turn was photo heaven!) There was action from 8 AM to at least 7 PM on all three days. Shot over 300 pictures. IMO this is the most fan friendly venue I have ever attended. We even golf carted the track Friday and Saturday night-----way cool! Daughter won and bought pit passes and we had garage passes already....cool paddock. For sure recommend renting a golf cart for this track. Looking to do this next year for sure!

Really glad you had a good time. I've been going down there since 1969, a lot has changed for sure, but it's always been way cool. You're right about that photo location. You should have been there years ago before they put up all the higher fencing. Another good spot is inside turn 1 just as they leave the pits.
