1988 Valvoline March for the 1/24 Monogram and the 1/25 AMT/ERTL kits.
... and yes, 1989 Lola is in the works too!

I need some help on the 89 car. Rear wing - Valvoline, Stroh's Light and something in white - I'm guessing Raychem, but I can't decipher it. Can anyone make it out?
Also on the flugels in front of the rear wheels - Foot-Joy is at the top, but I can't make out what's below it.

I know on the Road Course rear wing Raychem was on the back.

That's what I'm leaning toward - it would be consistent as it appears with the Stroh's logo in two other places. Now just need to figure out that one on the flugal.
Interesting note - the 1988 car just said "Stroh" whereas the 1989 car said "Stroh's" or "Stroh's Light". If you google "Stroh" it is a German liquor unrelated to the beer.

Michael? Why no 1/18th? Is it because of the stripes? I know there is nothing (no model) to go by but I willl paint the stripes if I have too.

And I have to say that before this project I thought the Monogram kits were junk. After this project, I've come to the conclusion they are totally worthless. The Monogram March isn't even close. Theoretically I should have been able to scale down the 1/24 artwork at 96% to get 1/25 scale, but that wasn't the case. My conclusion is the Monogram body is larger than 1/24 scale, or they designed a 1/24 reproduction of a car that is larger than the March. Plus it just doesn't look right from any angle. These kits make the old Kurtis roadster look like a highly accurate representation in comparison! That's why I'm not wasting my time doing the 89 sheet for the Monogram kit.

Michael, This scan is from the Tameo kit. Does it help any? Paul Erlendson Actually found a couple of error's with that sheet. The Stroh's light on the rear wing should all be on one line, and the "Valvoline" type on main logo on the nose is incorrect.
