A few years back I was working for Saturn Automobile Corporation in marketing...and a goo friend of mine worked for Toyota of El Monte that was owned by Penske Motor Cars. He told me that most of Penske's winning Indy Cars were displayed in the basemen there in a private museum and if I wanted to go over and see them. SURE!!! So I went with my trusty camera and was allowed to take some photos. Here's a few of what I photographed that day... I see one car that we all wished there was a model of in this photo.... Sullivan's 1985 March This photo shows clearly that the body Michael and Bill worked on was dead on correct!!! Look at the differences in the side pods... More later.....Best to you!!

Russ, do you know the story of the #5 M@r1b0r0 car? It looks like the '92 Penske which seems out of place for a display of cars that won the 500. Senna tested a '92 Penske but that was #4 - so this would have been Emmo's car Not only that but it is the only car in this spread that isn't in chronological order - weird! Jordan

Jordon,
I haven't a clue. I went through the other photos I took that day and that was th only car that didn't have a piece of plexi-glass in front of it, describing what it was....Sorry.
Best to you!
Russ

Thanks for checking Russ. The engine cover has a distinct "hump" on the back that is (as far as know) unique to the PC21 (their '92 chassis). Which fits with it being a Chevy ('87-93), M@r1b0r0 ('90-'06), and #5 ('91-92). Knowing that I went back to look at the pictures: The plexi-glass says (the best I can make it out) Emmo also won the '92 season opener at Surfer's Paradise so since that win isn't on the plexi - this must actually be the winning chassis from the late season three wins. I always wished someone would do a PC21 - being that it was Mears' last ride and '92 being my first Indy 500, it would be proudly displayed Jordan
