Unfortunately I am not able to get down to the SoCal NNL this weekend. I was only recently down to a convention in Long Beach and can't justify the travel again. I was however there about a week before the LBGP and spent some quality time cruising around the course, practicing my pit stops and running over curbs. No tickets so i guess I wasn't trying hard enough.
I remember the first time I saw a photo of the H16, it was on the cover of R&T. 1960'something. I was mesmerized by those eight horns sticking out in front of the wheels, I was hooked and a fan for life... Even if they weren't that successful. Lance has some great reference drawings.
