Several months back, I sent a Bank of America Cashiers Check to Bill Jorgensen to get one of his Dusenberg Kits, (I had wanted to build it for the Indy Display and as a tutorial here,) a 72 McLaren, 78 Winner Conversion. For months I have heard nothing from Bill. So when my bank got the cashiers check back, I told them I wanted to see it. Well....I finally did.
The check had been cashed, but not by Bill Jorgensen. I know this because the signature on the back was not Bill's....I could actually read it!! ;D Bill's hand writing is not neat, for those that have seen it. So I contacted the postal authorities and they are looking into it. So, when sending a Money Order or Cashers Check, disguise it better than I did. This is a lesion learned and not Bill's fault at all!
Best to you all!

That really sucks, russ! I know Bill's signature well (basically a wavy line!). Hope you get some satisfaction.

I just got an order from Bill. Not all I ordered, but two of the five. So he is filling orders. I hope no one else has gotten gipped by this thief that is giving Bill a bad name. Nic

Russ,
This is a sad part of the convenience that the internet offers and allows unscrupulous people take advantage of us, the trusting modelers that are a "brotherhood" that can be trustworthy. This, unfortunately, is not so. I'm so sorry that happened to you Russ.
