What do you use and why is it the best for You?
I use the Testors glue but I'm wondering if Tamiya's Glue would be better?
or if glue is glue and dosen't really matter as long as you glue to a clean plastic surface.

I use Ambroid Pro-Weld almost exclusively for styrene. Testor's Clear Parts Cement for, you guessed it, clear parts (and also for filling in gauges and sometimes gluing a small un-stressed detail part or P/E), & of course epoxy and superglue for resin and misc. materials. I do use tube glue occasionally for it's slight gap-filling abilities. HTH!

I use Testors tube glue (yes, that's what I said), Ambroid, Kristal Klear, super glue and 2-part epoxy. Which I use depends on what I'm assembling at the moment.

As with Indydog so is the same with me. I keep a collection for the necessary use.

I use Tenax 7R, Revell of Germany Contacta (it is the old Revell USA Styrene Glue, Type S, that came in the red/blue/yellow tube), CYAs in thin, medium and thick, Epoxy (5 Min. and 30 Min.), and Aieene's Tacky Glue (white craft glue). There are others, but those are the main ones.
The Tenax is a liquid that really bonds quick, similar to Ambroid Pro Weld, but I feel it bonds better and quicker. I can run it down a seam (capillary action) and it sets quick! The Contacta is a real solid tube glue (Omni Hobbies). The CYAs (super glues) and Epoxys are for metal and dissimilar materials. The craft white glue for clear parts and such.

Well...I like Mongo, I use Tenax 7R, Zap a Gap super glue. I started to use Tamiya clear glue and it's okay, but it is not Tanax which is great! Good old Elmer's White Glue for clear parts.
And....I use evercoat putty too. It doesn't shrink. For patternwork I use A B Eboxy Putty.....good suff and takes time to harden. It doesn't shrink either.
Best to you!
