I have done it, so I will try to explain. I'm sure others can do a better job. I know that Old Calhoun will chime in with better information. Make a box with perforated masonite forming the top. Cut a hole in the side the same size as the hose end of your vacuum. Place your form on the top, if it's a kit windshield fill the inside with clay and level off the top. Heat some thin styrene clear sheet. Don't use your wife's oven, this will cause problems, believe me I know. I use a garage sale toaster oven. When the sheet styrene is hot, turn on the vacuum, place the plastic over the form ( I hardly need to tell you to use gloves for this step), and you should have a part. You will have to experiment to get the right temp, don't expect to get the best part the first time. I hope this helps. Craig

Which windscreen are you trying to do? It might just be easier to do it from sheet plastic - kind of like the Kurtis Kraft kits.

Anything that is rounded and has an top angle to it. Like how the chaparral, parnelli, and wildcat are. Small windscreens w/ semi 90 degree bends are easy.
