Fujimi 917k

This is Fujimis kit of the 1970 Le Mans winning 917k. I built this with the HRM 917 engine kit as the Fujinmi kit is a "semi curbside". As much as I love the paint scheme (it can be done in red/white, white/green, white/dk blue and white/red), I will never do another. The decals are a PITA!
I used Indycals decals and it was still a chore. I used 3 different sets and it still looks like crap.

Mark, this is great. This is one of my favorite cars and one of my favorite schemes (including the color variations). Fantastic job!

I may have worded my post badly. Michaels decals worked perfectly, but getting the "eyebrows" on correctly is difficult. I ended up cutting the right one in half to make it easier.

Looks good to me! I can see where the decals would be a challenge with the numerous curves.
