First question. Was it pearl white or plain white? Second question. While watching a video of Foyt's last pit stop I noticed the fueler using a fuel port on the lower part of the tank. It appeared to be some sort of quick connect hookup. I never noticed this in still photos of the car. Does anyone have a good shot of this type of fuel port? Thanks for any help offered.

I think it was plain white since the sponsor was Bowes Seal Fast. I also think pearlescent pearl did not appear on his car until 1964. Walt would know for sure. I have no idea about the fuel port. Sorry. Jim

It was a pearl white and yes there was a fuel coupler low on the tail.

Thanks Lance, that's persactly what I needed. I would have bet it was pure white and that shot of the fuel port is very helpful. Thank you too Jim for jumping in to help.

The car was pearl white. If I remember correctly, AJ and Parnelli both went to the pearl white.

Not a super good shot but you can see the lower port. Eddie Sachs had one on his car also. In this photo you barely see it. A split second earlier and the raised hand would have obscured it.

Frame will be white, body will be pearl white. One more paint question. Were the inside of the body panels unpainted? As always thanks for any help offered.
