This is terrible news. I really liked Gary, he was one of the good guys. I shall miss him.

I was shocked when Susan called me yesterday. I can't add anything to what's already been said. Gary was a great modeler and a great friend. I'll miss him.... Gary We were actually just talking about you on our last phone call this past Sunday. We were talking about sports car racing for once instead of sprint cars. And that led to him talking about his fantasy Ford Capri build of the 3 Gary’s 24 hour race team. A beautiful and special build. |

This is just so, so sad.
Earlier we lost Tom Faletti and now Gary.
Two great ambassadors for the hobby as well as fine people.

This is terrible news. Gary and I were just talking about our Tim Richmond builds just a week ago.

Gary was part of what makes this place great. May we learn to be a little bit more like him from having known him.

I’m so, so sorry for your loss. I pray for you and all of Gary’s family during this trying time. I’m so grateful to have met you both. Gary was a great modeler and always fun to talk to. His work was an inspiration to me and I’m sure many others.

I thought I'd recognized his name when reading this and then it dawned on me who he was. I remember him as an energetic very nice guy and sold him a couple of models at a swap meet. We discussed racing and as I recall, some hockey and he was a fan of the St. Louis Blues because that's the type of music he played. Hopefully my memory is correct.
Very sad to find out about this. My thoughts are with his family.
