As usual, please skip below and skip the words. For the second build in a row I've managed to finish two models almost at the same time. I normally have a couple going at any one time so if I need to wait for parts to dry or paint to dry or whatever, I can continue modeling. This time I was building another re-release from Round2 in the form of a modified coupe. I really love how those old Mods looked.
To be totally honest, this is just a fantastic kit. The fit was exceptional from start to finish. The new decal sheet and tires are really nice. I really enjoyed slinging this one together. I have some friends in the PA area that just love big block modifieds and they were the impetus behind me picking this kit up. Not based off anything in particular, just another easy generic build. Got it from good old Hobby Lobby during one of their 40% off deals.
Once again, just a ridiculously simple build. I did nothing at all extra except adding some gauge decals to complete the instrument cluster look. It was such a great kit that it didn't really need much. I suppose plug wires would have added something but didn't feel like this kit really warranted the using of those resources. Like I said, just a phenomenal kit. Some of the Round2 stuff can be really not to great, but this one was fantastic. I had fun with this one and my F189 and I'd surely look into building others out of MPC's modified lineup. Thanks for looking!
