Guys:
I need your help. I have done 3 of Gary’s kits and had few problems. After his passing, I ordered the 1950 winner. I had built the Jorgensen and it was perhaps my favorite build. It was lost in the Great Flood, so I desired to build it again.
But I got a strange set of photo etch wire wheels. Also, the tires were all the same size (rears). I sanded down the front tires to make them work. The following photo shows the correct PE (from the 38 winner) on the left, and what I got on the right…
So the question is: Did anybody else get a messed up set? Can I trade a set of uncut PE for the correct one? Did anybody get cut PE only?
Any help appreciated!
