Finishing the chassis was fairly easy at this point. I added brake lines and some extra wiring and plumbing but otherwise I think this is what you get from the Tamiya kit. Not one of their best in my opinion but a nice enough end result (so far).

So a naked and wingless car, Gilles could have taken it for a shakedown run........

GREAT detail. That puppy should run. When are you gon'na fire it up Paul?

I got to the easy part and then screwed it up. I polished and clear coated the wings, worked nicely, managed to get the aging decals to co-operate, and then got dust all over the clear coat. I don't know why, never been a problem before.

I shall have to just let it cure (I put 2 more clear coats over it just for depth) and then try wet sanding and a top coat and hope I don't hit the decals.

Anyway, as she is for the moment.

Not very noticeable in the pics Paul. I think it looks great! Best of luck getting that issue ironed out though!! Been fun following this one.

Thanks guys. The wings turned out fine, it's the main body shell that's got the dust all over it.

Just one of those things to go back and fix later.
