Personal preference but I'll take Momograms offerings over AMT, MPC etc any day. Some kits are junk but some really surprise you.
This one has all the parts, well except a gas tank which would be invisible anyway. I can only show you the chassis (because it wouldn't be open wheeled if I put the body on)
box stock build except for the Webers/intake and correct valve covers.
Ready for bodywork:
pretty cool for a $20.00 kit.

Looks good. From the rims, I would guess Cobra. Since the heads match, I will stick with it LOL Pretty aggressive side exit headers!

Well, not lol, really

It's supposed to represent the (we think, courtesy JC for identifying it) "FIA" Cobra raced in '64 by the Comstock Racing Team. The team's shop (at the back of Comstock Engineering's facility in Scarborough) was a 5 minute bicycle ride from my house. As a 10 - 12 year old I used to hang around it. I guess they liked me, I didn't get thrown out all that often.
Decals designed and printed by me, before my printer and then PC both departed for the afterlife. I think they worked, took enough practice runs. The scoop is supposed to be green, I masked off the hood and then there wasn't any racing green because I used it all up on the Bentley. Hood will have to wait, but the body is done:
Now for some final assembly.

Hang it from a tree with some invisible fishing line or something. Make sure you pick a calm day! Ha! That’s a good idea. I’ve got so much weight in the nose to stop it being a tail sitter that I’d have to at least get some medium action fishing line. She’s heavy.
