Just to show I don't always work on the big stuff. Last summer I built this little guy just for fun. I find it hard to believe it's really 1/25th - it's so small!
I just love old race cars, and this was a little gem. Besides, how can you not like a flathead Ford?
Here it is beside it's big brother.
cheers
Paul

Great job, Paul. The size comparison is flooring. You don't think there is much to an IndyCar, look at this midget LOL
Those drivers sure were brave!

Neat little car, Paul! Lots of tiny parts, not like those 1/12 kits! I just pulled out one of these to keep me sane while detail painting my 1/12 Tyrrell (might not work). Got some VRM decals for it, too.

Nice model of an iconic racer
People often underestimated midgets but Rodger Ward drove an Offy powered one to victory at Lime Rock 25 July '59 against some of the best sports cars & drivers in the world

Beautiful. Super awesome Paul. Love the flathead power in the little midget. And as a guy who helps some local sprint/silver crown drivers around here I love the subject matter. I’ve worked on a midget 3 times total and I still can’t get over how small the 1:1 cars are, let alone a 1/25!!

Those Revell midget kits are super! You did a great job on it, I absolutely love how it turned out. You captured the look and spirit of those machines with your build.

Thanks everybody. I built it totally on a whim, and it ended up being one of my favorites. I never really know until they're finished and I look at them a bit later, but some I'm really happy with and most I'd just as soon give them away. That little guy (and the Watson) I'll keep for sure.
cheers Paul
