Did anyone race a 1950s era Kuzma-Offy up Pikes Peak? Specifically one that could be made from the Etzel '54-'56-'57 National Champion kit (as I have that kit).

I doubt it unless it was one of the Dean Van Lines or DA Lubricant cars. Dick Wallen's book on the 1950s has several Pikes Peak pictures but none with a Kuzma. Some Indianapolis cars and drivers did the hill climb which a AAA sanction until 1955 and USAC after that. However, I don't think they awarded championship points. I have seen a picture of a KK4000 like the one Cecil Green drove at Indy on Pikes Peak. No reason you can't do a phantom. Good luck!
